I knew I forgot to ask them something ...
CTD, Hansdamf, Joker and Deep Sjeng played on the same hardware they also used in Leiden. For CTD that is a dual Opteron 270 (so 4 cores), Hansdamf a dual core Opteron at 2.2Ghz, Joker a Core2 Duo 2.4Ghz (using 1 core), Deep Sjeng an Intel Q6600 (4 cores) at 2.4Ghz.
Deep Shredder played on a remote machine of which I do not know the exact details, but I did not think it was big hardware.
Diep played on a dual Opteron 275 (I think) (4 cores).
I'll update the site with the hardware used, as far as I can get the details. I'm a bit tired right now and have some other things to do, so this may take a little while.

That would be Deep Shredder.

I am curious about your program CTD. Is it private?

Thanks,

Paulo Soares
Probably the Deep version is used. it's just the program's name thats displayed.

CTD is private, once it is stronger than The Baron, then Richard might consider releasing it or so I have heard but I'm not so sure!

Btw, Never heard of the engine 'Hansdamf', It drew with Shredder?! Surely an interesting new rising star.
It's the successor of Isichess.

Shredder played on my spare machine, which is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
