It's just getting worse, why a 2700+ Fide player would agree to play like a jerk against Rybka![]()

This is not chess,it's an ugly parody of the chess playing game
these handicap games are not chess but rather a spectacle
might just as well play Monopoly or any another board game
i wonder if all of these handicap matches are not really designed to show Rybka as invincible at the expense of the GM
as to why would a GM agree to this ??
well .. sadly ..i guess the GM's need the money so they are willing to be offered up as human sacrifices to the Rybkian God
the last "real" match was against GM Benjamin who only received draw odds for purposes of scoring and prize fund distribution(and he also had White in every game)
that match ended with the GM scoring two draws and four losses
perhaps a stronger GM could have scored better i do not know..

Don't they have any sense of integrity,I can understand the need of a cach issue, but still....
Play the game like a man following the standard chess game rules and whatever the outcome is,so let it be....
I am mearly playing around 2100-2150 and here is a game played against a 2700+ engine with the black pieces,I will not name the engine, but the point is,can't a professional 2700+ GM do better than me![]()
....Damn he can....

Dr.Muller deserves much credit for that! amazing how a 1700 something characters tiniest program can almost get a drawn position.Uri Blass wrote: one game also proves nothing and I remember that micromax could get drawn position against rybka in the world blitz championship only to lose on time.

The situation is clearly different.
Playing at home against rybka is not playing a public match when rybka has a book that prevent you to go to lines that you know to play.
I do not say that you did it in this game but in theory you can prepare your draw simply by remembering rybka-rybka games and repeating it.
one game also proves nothing and I remember that micromax could get drawn position against rybka in the world blitz championship only to lose on time.

Ah, OK. When I copy and paste PGN I don't snip away uninteresting moves. Sry for my confusion.Dr.Wael Deeb wrote:I did,but the rest of the game was not interesting at all....Alexander Schmidt wrote:Though this position looks like draw, you first must play this too the end without blunder...
