101 engines now. I'll add 27 more after this tournament is finished.

And then Knock out follows later If I get a chance.
Consider that I have a whole rating list based on 1min+1sec time control, this should be easy for me. Can you not post the results until the tournament is finished?
You bet? We'll see :)

I will post the results after 30 rounds, 40 rounds, 50... etc like How I did the last time around...

So that's why, I'm giving you a 7 days time to finalize your picks, is 7 days too short? how about 10?
Ten is good, if that's the best you can do. I wish you would wait until the tournament is completely finished.

Completely finished? That would take about anywhere around 25-30 days. And a lot of people want me to post the ongoing tournament results...

How about posting the result after you finish half of the tournament. Then you can make daily updates??

You mean, posting the results after the 50 rounds or something? That would take about 10-12 days I think... Which is essentially the same as 10 days rule :)

Is everyone waiting to see everyone else's guesses before they make their own? :?

I don't know, I'd guess so :)

Actually I think Contest with engines <2300 is less interesting than the one with >2300 (which had no less than 25 participants by the way...the number which was equivalent to about 1/4 of the total engines playing in it!) .

I expect this tournament to have about 10 participants. 12 at max. I'd be excited if there was actually more than 15 participants.

Come on Zach, You missed the last GBT, I don't think you should skip this one!

Btw, me got a week holiday. So, I should return back to doing reports for ZCT and Some Lemming again, I know I have been such a poor little procrastinator...

I know it's sometimes little difficult especially to those who have no idea about the ratings of these engines, but there are resources.

ChessWar, WBEC, CCRL, CEGT, CCB Division Tournaments, Tony's List etc etc

So researching them for a few minutes and making predictions is more fun me thinks
