I will post the results after 30 rounds, 40 rounds, 50... etc like How I did the last time around...
So that's why, I'm giving you a 7 days time to finalize your picks, is 7 days too short? how about 10?

Completely finished? That would take about anywhere around 25-30 days. And a lot of people want me to post the ongoing tournament results...Tony Thomas wrote:Ten is good, if that's the best you can do. How about posting the result after you finish half of the tournament. Then you can make daily updates??swami wrote:Completely finished? That would take about anywhere around 25-30 days. You mean, posting the results after the 50 rounds or something? That would take about 10-12 days I think... Which is essentially the same as 10 days ruleTony Thomas wrote:How about posting the result after you finish half of the tournament. Then you can make daily updates??swami wrote:Completely finished? Is everyone waiting to see everyone else's guesses before they make their own?

I don't know, I'd guess soOvyron wrote:Is everyone waiting to see everyone else's guesses before they make their own?

Actually I think Contest with engines <2300 is less interesting than the one with >2300 (which had no less than 25 participants by the way...the number which was equivalent to about 1/4 of the total engines playing in it!) .
I expect this tournament to have about 10 participants. 12 at max. I'd be excited if there was actually more than 15 participants.

Come on Zach, You missed the last GBT, I don't think you should skip this one!Zach Wegner wrote:1. ZCT
2-6. Doesn't matter.

Btw, me got a week holiday. So, I should return back to doing reports for ZCT and Some Lemming again, I know I have been such a poor little procrastinator...

I know it's sometimes little difficult especially to those who have no idea about the ratings of these engines, but there are resources.Edsel Apostol wrote:I don't really have idea about the playing strength of these engines anymore
ChessWar, WBEC, CCRL, CEGT, CCB Division Tournaments, Tony's List etc etc
So researching them for a few minutes and making predictions is more fun me thinks
