yes but why is it that expensive ?

i would maybe buy it for less money than rybka costs,but not for more than rybka costs.

To me, it clearly looks like a souvenir gimmick for those attending the World Chess Championship in Bonn.

In Paris, you would get small Eiffel Tower models (less expensive than this Shredder) :D

When I questioned Stefan Meyer-Kahlen he replied:
the UEP website has now some info on this version. There is no update offer
for customers of previous versions this time as this version is distributed
by UEP.

You will again get an update offer for Deep Shredder 12 which will be
available on shredderchess.com.
