As always, thanks a lot for your work!

I hope the latest ratings will finally open people's eyes to Stockfish, which still doesn't seem to get nearly as much attention as it deserves. It's becoming more and more clear that it is much stronger than Glaurung, and it is also more likely to improve in the future. :)

It depends on the time control and how many engines are there, here is Stockfish having a difficult time against Grapefruit and Thinker 5.4a Inert.

i hope you find the motivation, time, and energy to push it even further, and give rybka and naum some much needed competition!
Hi Norman,

well Rybka and Naum live on another planet, but I hope we could give some good competition to Cyclone :-)

Thanks
Marco
giving a good competition is not equivalent to beating

Naum does not live in another planet
the difference between Rybka and Naum seem to be almost the same as the difference between Naum and stockfish so if rybka and naum live on the same planet then we can also say that naum and stockfish live in the same planet based on the same logic.

1 Rybka 3 x64 4CPU 3195 13 13 2182 78.5% 2970 30.4%
5 Naum 4 x64 4CPU 3097 17 17 818 61.0% 3020 47.2%
24 Stockfish 1.2def x64 4CPU 2979 30 30 300 47.7% 2995 40.7%

1 Rybka 3 x64 1CPU 3108 20 20 852 75.4% 2914 32.7%
3 Naum 4 w32 1CPU 2986 20 20 641 58.2% 2929 44.0%
17 Stockfish 1.2def x64 1CPU 2870 28 28 350 54.1% 2841 39.7%
