I have ACE thats working on my system - check your email :)

Version of Ace now on website works.

- On your C partition, create the folder "Ace01".
- In "C:\Ace01" folder, put only "Ace.exe".
- Append the following lines to "ChsGUI_Eng.TXT" in GUI_DATA folder of
ChessGUI:

[ACE 0.1]
MyName=ACE 0.1
OriginalName=ACE 0.1
EngineFile=C:\ace01\ACE.exe
EngineAuthor=Adam Adair
CommandLine=
EngineCode=571746046443552 117966600 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
EngineInts=0 1 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

- Start ChessGUI and report here whether Ace works.

Maybe your problem is that you are running an UCI engine as WB.
Winboard cannot use UCI engines without polyglot.
Arena will run Ace as UCI.

The ACE dilema Dann figured it out , just before me so in chess hes the best. ACE requires '.NET' I had a new install so .NET wasnt on my PC , still a good bit of detective work was needed
