OK, there is a new WinBoard beta that now also applies the test for unorthodox game ends on games loaded from a file:

It also fixes an ICS twokings castling bug (which granted the castling rights to the wrong King as a side-effect of an FRC patch).
And moving pieces in edit-position mode no longer kills the setting of "animate moving".
