No,the Software doesn't allow moderators to ban another moderator..so since Christopher is a mod at CTF, Only way that could be possible for CCC mods to enforce a ban was to tell Christopher not to post in CCC anymore until specified time.gerold wrote:Maybe they have changed things. you could not post in CTF.
Well if he is banned, it shouldn't be long. First bans are normally short.swami wrote:No,the Software doesn't allow moderators to ban another moderator..so since Christopher is a mod at CTF, Only way that could be possible for CCC mods to enforce a ban was to tell Christopher not to post in CCC anymore until specified time.gerold wrote:Maybe they have changed things. Here is my response on this. What is handled in private, stays private. We handled this case among the moderators, in private, made the decisions in private, etc. If you want to remain active, then stop trying to create a problem where none is present. If you have a question, ask the party directly, not thru a public post here. Your post itself has created still more problems for moderators, and it is not looked upon kindly by any of us.swami wrote:I don't see him posting anymore in CCC and there were so many Ippolit/Robbolito topics last night.
Could one of the mods clarify this matter? for example, how long he was banned for?
Bob - it is interesting to note that Christopher Whittington posted exactly the same query in the Rybka forum more than 24 hours ago. Private moderation matters are being leaked again.bob wrote:Here is my response on this. What is handled in private, stays private. cease and desist. voluntarily or involuntarily, your choice.
Since when were bannings private??Graham Banks wrote:Bob - it is interesting to note that Christopher Whittington posted exactly the same query in the Rybka forum more than 24 hours ago.
