Concept: cut exchange Ruy Lopez (Spannisch) 4.-dc6 end. No 5.d4, 0-0 is probably better.

Whitout english attack by Sizilian? (Be3, f3, g4, Qd2, 0-0-0)

And some Anti-Najdorf? example 6.Bg5 e6 7.f4 Be7 (Qb6 ...) 8.Qf3 Qc7 9.0-0-0 Nbd7 10.g4 b5

More gambits?
Jännish 3.-f5 4.Nc3 fe4 5.Nxe4 d5 6.Nxe5 e4 7.Nxc6 Qg5 8.Qe2 Nf6 9.Nxa7 Bd7 10.Bxd7+ Nxd7 11.f4 Qa5 (Qf5)
King 3.Nf3 g5 4.h4 g4 5.Ne5 Nf6 6.d4 d6 7.Nd3 Nxe4 8.Bxf4 Qe7 9.Be2!? (Keres)
3.Bc4 Qh4+ 4.Kf1 or 3.-Nf6 4.Nc3 c6
Sizilian 2.Nf3 d6 3.b4!?

I tend to view it differently.

You could look at the Reti

[d]rnbq1rk1/ppp1ppbp/3p1np1/8/4P3/3P1NP1/PPP2PBP/RNBQ1RK1 b - -

and say that it has 41 games (I have more), or you could note that it was played numerous times by legends such as Fischer, Petrosian, Eliskases, etc. Numbers aren't the end-all of end-alls.

It is also a standard KIA position, and played by many many players, from GMs to amateurs.

If I relax the restriction to 2400 Elo, I have 141 games. Here is the SCID report:

I tend to view it differently.

You could look at the Reti

[d]rnbq1rk1/ppp1ppbp/3p1np1/8/4P3/3P1NP1/PPP2PBP/RNBQ1RK1 b - -

and say that it has 41 games (I have more), or you could note that it was played numerous times by legends such as Fischer, Petrosian, Eliskases, etc. Numbers aren't the end-all of end-alls.

It is also a standard KIA position, and played by many many players, from GMs to amateurs.
I did find these:

Hi Albert,

I'd like to use new Silver Suite, SS2 ?, in my tests.
Could you please indicate the finalized version of it
or better post the new version. I understand some
opening lines are replaced with new ones.

Re: Silver Openings Suite (PGN)

I'd like to use new Silver Suite, SS2 ?, in my tests.
Could you please indicate the finalized version of it
or better post the new version. I understand some
opening lines are replaced with new ones.
No lines were changed, merely discussed. There was some confusion regarding the purpose of the suite, such as one line being better than another. This is always debatable, but not the point. It is an openings suite designed to provide engines with the greatest number of chess questions (how do you play the hedgehog, the Maroczy, the KIA, the French Tarrasch, etc.), and not an opening book. Some positions were left out in favor of others to ensure that variety. If the results were truly the measure, then I'd have to remove the Sicilian Pelikan as it is easily the position that is lost the most often by engines with black. In fact, that is why I fed it ...f5, since in the original suite, the result was almost certain with two strong engines. The same was true of the QI hedgehog in the original suite, so I replaced it with a new hedgehog. I have tested the new suite, as originally published, already several times, and am satisfied with the games and balance.

[White "?"]
[Black "?"]

It is true they aren't great scorers, but I think claiming the above position to be superior is incredibly debatable in spite of what DB statistics may show. If you give them to engines, I think they will score very similarly. As to testing, I prefer mine as it asks the engines a few interesting questions regarding how they play the e5 square and the long diagonal, which is not obviously covered in other positions in the suite. The above line will usually go two routes: White will push e4 and black will exchange, or white will push and black will push back d4. The latter will lead to positions with only minor differences from the KIA and Closed Sicilian, both of which are already in the suite. Just my 2 cents.

As an aside, there are positions that are notoriously hard for engines to play, and could almost be considered losing, such as the Sicilian Pelikan, or the KI Classical, but to not include them would also defeat the purpose of the suite: maximize openings and types of positions. It should ask the engines a ton of questions on how they handle all sorts of situations.
Although this proves nothing, out of curiosity, I ran a double round-robin with 7 strong engines playing both positions, the b3/f4 line I used and yours. The point was really to see whether one line clearly outscored another. If my line led to a regular white route, I would have to reconsider my position. It also gave me a chance to see whether I was correct in assessing that my line tested the features I expected, thus I looked over the games.

The engines were: Shredder 12, Fritz 12, Robbo 0.09, Rybka 3, Komodo 1.0 x64 (default settings), Stockfish 1.6.2 JA, and Spark 0.3 GCC.

Games were at 4m + 2s, ponder on, single processor, 64-bit engines when applicable.

b3/f4 line -

1-0 - 14 games / 33%
draw - 17 games / 41%
0-1 - 11 games / 26%

Total: white 54% / black 46%

d3/g3 line -

1-0 - 9 games / 21%
draw - 14 games / 34%
0-1 - 19 games / 45%

Total: white 38% / black 62%
