Yes, terrific game by SF.

5 out of 5 so far, who can stop SF?
Rybka 4 most likely in the second round. She scored 70% against Stockfish 1.7.1 in my tests.

True. I wish we'd see a new Thinker soon with this fixed. When was the last time Thinker was released? 1 year ago?

Also very likely to happen. R4 hasn't had a great run so far, so the only way forward is up to the top I think. :)

Stockfish doing well so far. Rybka will probably come back to win, but it looks like the days of rybka blowing away the field are officialy over.

"Blowing away the field"?
Most of Rybkas most worthy rivals are not even here. If they were, Rybka 4 it seems would not stand any hope at all!

"Rybka will probably come back to win"?
Why would you want that? It might not be just, if it did.

I am not saying rybka "should" win as if it is a moral should. I am saying that it should win because it is probably stronger than the other engines. early blitz results suggest r4 might be at least 50 points better than r3

I think the opponents in this group are pretty strong. What other engines do you think should be included?

50 elo points stronger than R3, is weaker than some free engines. (I'm sure you are aware of them, from this forum).

Do you know were I might see more tournemant results with fire 1.2 and 1.3? I'm not sure the evidence is in yet on strength

how much stronger do you estimate fire 1.3 is to rybka 3. (I'm testing this now. Don't have r4)

OK, so that might be near the top at the momment. It would be interesting to see such engines all in one tournament.

I don't know any more details than what you might find on this (or the Rybka) forum..

Good luck with your testing vs R3!
