You mean the tale of the Indian genius that died of celebral malaria that developed the engine that Vas bought?

Well, I suppose that Houdini is already in the past then... oh wait! shouldn't that happen before the end of 2012? I suppose the ghost of the guy come to pacts with the maya that they would posticipate the apocalypse if he didn't reveal the last bit of codes to Vas during the usual seance until after 2013, elsewhere all that work was for nothing.
I don't buy this story either......

Strelka has done good job of cloning so maybe it will be almost as strong as Houdini. :-). And the rest of the top10 may follow Strelka.
At any rate Houdini will have to keep improving to stay on top.
Rybka is dead. :-).
And it must do it fast, believe me

You mean it's a joke theme?
Genius, best chess program ever/cerebral malaria. Looks like opposites.
But then,
dead!
And then,
Vas has it, and paid alot of money for it!

And who wrote this? Someone not in this thread?

A flesh-eating Argentine seagull. They have become mean.

Beware! It may develop a taste for fish, reptiles, other gulls, any sort of critter!

So I was the only person who took the bait?
Take another look!

 On another note, I read somewhere that you will soon be working on a Houdini 4. I suggest you start doing that real soon, as I have inside information that THERE WILL be a Rybka5 soon, before this year ends...... and no, I'm not just speculating like most of the people on the chess forums !
All I know is that its a chess engine developed on LINUX/ UBUNTU by someone other than Mr Vasik who has sold it to the latter. (Sorry, I don't know much about Linux, so I can't explain more). Anyway, from what I can understand, this brilliant guy, an Indian engineering student, who developed this engine in his spare time, doesn't much like Windows, and has sold it to Mr Vasik. Needless to say, this unknown engine has beaten both Houdini 2 and 3 with ease, even only using slow hardware like a Core2Duo and has so impressed Mr Vasik that he has paid a lot of money for it and is busy converting this engine into UCI or something, so that it will run on the more popular and commercially viable Windows... and he will sell it as Rybka 5 !
So, buck up Mr Houdart !

P.S I know that people will only laugh at this post disbelievingly, but every word I have written is true. I won't bother defending myself though as I've already probably said too much.
The only reason I have revealed this is because the brilliant inventor of this engine died tragically of Cerebral Malaria just a few days ago, in India.
Now that he is no more, I don't know see why I should keep it a secret any longer..... Mr Vasik means nothing to me.
