That last move was a tough one. There were so many choices. I did analyse this with 5 top engines for over an hour each on my quad, to check my choice was not a blunder, and got 4 different moves
Ba3 - Zappa (nearly 2 hrs)
Rc1 - Shredder (one and a half hours)
Be7 - Naum, Rybka (naum about 1.5 hrs, Rybka about 2.5 hrs)
Bb4 - Hiarcs (more than 3 hrs)
The Tasc response of Be5 was anticipated by Zappa following Ba3.

Indeed. I really struggled with this move. I turned to some engines for help, and they were no help at all !! I was delighted though that my favourite Zappa confirmed what I was favouring
Oh yes - and that is 11.5 hrs on 4 fairly quick CPU cores

so each core can analyze at the same time using a different engine?
all in all you only needed 2-3 hours total ..real time .. to get the 4 engines to check your move and not 11.5+ Hrs real time ?
if so ..
amazing stuff regards
Steve
We must be careful with the use of engines in this position. Our goal is to achieve some kind of fortress(which engines does not understand) our sacrifice our bishop for one pawn and capture the last one achieving a theoretical KRB v KR draw, also beyond the scope of engines.
This Ba3 move looks silly it does not help any of the 2 methods, we should establish a plan for either mode of drawing.
