Which chess software supports it natively? I give preference for DOS over Windows.
I saw some guy named Jan Lubek (is that you?) talking about this sort of castling on some forum a few years ago, and I think he was looking for a DOS program to play it as well. I don't have a DOS program for it, but I did get Fairy Stockfish to play this variant by adding the following to the bottom of the variants.ini file:

Code: Select all

# Lubek Castling
[lubek:chess]
castlingQueensideFile = b
and uploading the variants.ini file to the Fairy Stockfish playground at https://fairyground.vercel.app/

I also wrote a .zrf file for Zillions of Games to play this variant and a few other variants that I made up. It can be downloaded at http://tonyschess.x10host.com/Chessx.zrf

I am NOT Jan Lubek, but he asked me to help him implement Long-Long Castling inside Chessmaster game, preferably newest one for DOS.

Yeah, it's been a few years since I read that thread. I thought the castling change was an interesting idea to try in Zillions. That program did not want to do long long castling queenside very often.

It would be a pretty difficult task to reverse engineer a closed source program like Chessmaster 3000 (I think the latest DOS version) and change queenside castling. It would invalidate a lot of opening theory as well. It's certainly beyond my capabilities.
