sometimes I wonder why we even bother with making these free engines when there's people like you who completely disregard all our rights

As an user I do what I love! I liked Ethereal 13.25-Revenge 1.0-all Chiron & so on -I bought them (ask the authors), I like Eman-Raubfisch-Kayra & co. I use them-I like private (like was Baron) -I was tester (ask the author) -I like free engines -I use them ...... I don't share links or engines! Other problems ? I'm not a programmer.

PS: the result of my new test on Sunday. I'm invited to the largest festival of traditional carols in southern Moldova. Last year it was canceled by covid ..... this year no one can stop it .....

No one, but maybe some Omigron clones. And FYI, Omikron clones aren't SF clones you could test

In Moldova no one has covid anymore ..... Wave 5, 6, 7 & so on ..... what's the problem?

The problem is that the cloning doesn't work always perfect and Omikron unfortunatelly has a huge number of new mutations, a lot of them in the spike molecule!
Please ask google what this means.

For me personally the problem is very clear. I live, thank you, Lord! I'm dying, that's it. I have lived beautifully for many decades. Psychosis is worse than the epidemic. Just my opinion. It's sad that young people are dying ..... anyway, the air, the water, the food, the life ... are no longer the ones I had. Sometimes older people are healthier than younger ones.

As a user I use the chess engines that I appreciate. I liked Ethereal 13.25, Revenge 1.0, all Chiron & many commercials - I bought them (ask the authors - Andy is still active on the forum). Did I like some private engines (like The Baron once was)? I was a private tester (asks the author). I like some engines, free, derivatives, clones ..... I use them (if I can get them). I did not distribute engines and links. I'm not a programmer. Then what is wanted? Do you like to dominate the minds of others and impose rules that you want? I'm not the man. My presence in any forum (except in cases where the honorable moderators consider that I have violated previously announced rules) is my will. I can give it up at any time. Of course, not at chess! That concludes (from my point of view) the thread. I will return in forum around February 1, 2022 Anno Domini. I don't like arguing (especially on holidays)!

Raubfisch is an illegal clone and clearly violates Stockfish's license. It's only natural that the many Stockfish developers, Sopel included, would rather people not give it attention and refrain from using it, or, at the very least, refrain from discussing it here. The "creators" of Raubfisch effectively stole the hard work of countless developers and are remarkably disrespectful in their refusal to even acknowledge Raubfisch's origins.

The Stockfish authors have undeniably advanced the state of computer chess through the donation of their time and expertise. As I see it, the least one can do is show some semblance of gratitude by way of not filling this forum with discussion of illegal Stockfish clones.
