Re: Fritz 18 BUG still exists in update version 17
Hi Graham,
sorry (very) long time no speak
A lot of changes here and there was barely time for sleep - getting better now
still run engine matches just don't get to look at the results very often - usually run month long gauntlets just to cut down on the manual interaction.
I hope all are well!

Hello,
Is there a way to update my version of Fritz 18 to update 10 ?
I would like to avoid this bug if possible.
Thanks
Philippe

Sorry to re-post just in case anyone can help/
Is update 10 the last good update for Fritz 18? and if so where can I download update 10 - a quick Google search failed to find it.
P.S. Philippe - is looking for 10 too.
Additionally has anyone discovered a good way to identify these mistakes? I have 10's of thousands of games to go through. Even just identifying all games that have reduced to 6 pieces, any combination, would be a significant help. I might be missing something obvious but could not find a way in Fritz or Chessbase.
Thank you, and anyone else, in advance

Re: Fritz 18 BUG still exists in update version 17
Pity, I'm not sure about updates between 11 and 18 and haven't stored 10 neither, which I would have done knowing the bug would appear again with later ones. The way to look for a certain update at cb- servers doesn't exist anymore neither, as far as I know, so the only way I'd know was to ask cb- support for sending the binary for nr. 10- update per mail. Would do so on my own, if I hadn't changed to F19 meanwhile.Shaun wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 9:05 am Sorry to re-post just in case anyone can help/

Looking for certain numbers of men on board in cb- GUI works with "Filter List-Material and checked box Total", setting numbers at corresponding boxes with min.-max wished, regards
Peter.

(With Powerfritz 18, version 10 is already installed as the first version of Powerfritz 18. That's why there is no patch v10. But there is v10 for Fritz 18 which is identical to Powerfritz 18 v10)
