I am sorry - it is not so easy. Just tested the setting on my notebook with Intel CPU and C:/syzygy for the path. And here it works.
The same setting on my AMD Notebook does not work. Never had such a problem with cutechess GUI.
Which Dog is that? Dog.exe? Or Dog-avx.exe? Or?

can you tell me the commands inside command prompt for
setting path to endgame base c:\Syzyzgy
setting start position to 4k3/4p3/8/8/3p4/8/4N3/4KB2 w - - 0 1
Sorry did not read your whole message.

Setting path:

Code: Select all

setoption name SyzygyPath value c:\syzygy
Setting startposition:

Code: Select all

position fen 4k3/4p3/8/8/3p4/8/4N3/4KB2 w - - 0 1
and then e.g.:

Code: Select all

go movetime 5000
or

Code: Select all

go depth 20

Thanks, yes it works inside command prompt on the AMD Notebook but not inside Cutechess GUI; the reason is unknown.
I will wait for the faster compile before testing on the Intel Notebook.
Good luck
