Houdini is dutifully winning most of its games. or drawing sometimes. But Strelka is not letting up!
Is this the first time you are testing Strelka? Is it the latest program? What do we know about it?

It is pretty much an Ippo engine from what I've read. Perhaps somebody will clarify this better.

That would be a miracle, considering that Houdini 1.5a was released over a year earlier than Strelka 5.5.Laskos wrote:Houdini 1.5 is a modified Strelka 5.5.S.Taylor wrote:Houdini is dutifully winning most of its games. or drawing sometimes. But Strelka is not letting up!

Yes, a miracle, still their output is almost identical, so miracles do happen.Graham Banks wrote:That would be a miracle, considering that Houdini 1.5a was released over a year earlier than Strelka 5.5.Laskos wrote:Houdini 1.5 is a modified Strelka 5.5.S.Taylor wrote:Houdini is dutifully winning most of its games. or drawing sometimes. So why not say (as Robert Houdart mentioned):
Strelka 5.5 is a modified Houdini 1.5

Re: Round 23
Again, it is too much to ignore. Strelka results in this test have been unbelievable.
It has not lost a game so far.
Houdini is far above the next one down, but still, Strelka is comfortablyon top.
I would be interested to see other results from this exact version of this engine, in other places and time controls.
Is THIS the enginewhich someone recently said was written by a very talented Indian programmer who died?
