Houdini is dutifully winning most of its games. or drawing sometimes. But Strelka is not letting up!
Is this the first time you are testing Strelka? Is it the latest program? What do we know about it?

Strelka has been well tested.

It is pretty much an Ippo engine from what I've read. Perhaps somebody will clarify this better.

Houdini 1.5 is a modified Strelka 5.5.

Houdini 1.5 is a modified Strelka 5.5.
That would be a miracle, considering that Houdini 1.5a was released over a year earlier than Strelka 5.5.

Yes, a miracle, still their output is almost identical, so miracles do happen.

So why not say (as Robert Houdart mentioned):
Strelka 5.5 is a modified Houdini 1.5

Again, it is too much to ignore. Strelka results in this test have been unbelievable.
It has not lost a game so far.
Houdini is far above the next one down, but still, Strelka is comfortablyon top.
I would be interested to see other results from this exact version of this engine, in other places and time controls.
Is THIS the enginewhich someone recently said was written by a very talented Indian programmer who died?

May 2007 / Yuri Osipov(Ivanovich) / Strelka 1.0 beta.

Clone of Fruit 2. / Rbyka 1 beta.

Strelka 5.5 the latest Strelka. Russian engine. Many improvments made over the last 5 years. Like all the top engines today, is a Clone of Fruit.

Best,
Gerold.
