I saw a picture of Dr. Lacrosse,MD. He was almost totally bald. I suspect that there is a strong history of premature death due to cardiovascular disease in his families. There is a reason for everything in this life. BTW, baldness in men doesn't necessarily correlate with heart disease. There is some evidence though that very early baldness may be associated with adverse cardiac outcomes.

For clarification, the Marc Lacrosse that posted on this and other chess computer forums, and will be sadly missed there, is said to be the one from the second link below (quoted from a post earlier in this thread), the graphic you posted is for Marc Lacrosse born in 1958 from the first link.

I knew that in August but as there were 2 "Marc Lacrosse" in Belgium :

and as I didn't know who was the one in the CC field, I didn't want to report false bad news ...

Hello Weal,

in the last years we lost many of our chess friends.

Time to say thanks for all what the persons do and to give the family a hint about it. Its nice to see that so many persons have written a short text.

Indeed, very bad news !!!

I try to get a membership here to set my name in this thread. Today the membership comes and I do it directly.

Hi Gerold,

oh yes, the sunset picture in Arena News-Ticker for around 4 years. On this evening I added the picture in Arena News-Ticker. Lisa made it from our Terace and was very happy.

A nice day and we have a lot of fun on this day. We are working on an interview with a chess programmer and she means ... add the pic because she missed female inspiration on all the boring News-Ticker pages :-)

Best
Frank

PS:
Nice that you thinking on it !!
