I saw a picture of Dr. Lacrosse,MD. He was almost totally bald. I suspect that there is a strong history of premature death due to cardiovascular disease in his families. There is a reason for everything in this life. BTW, baldness in men doesn't necessarily correlate with heart disease. There is some evidence though that very early baldness may be associated with adverse cardiac outcomes.
For clarification, the Marc Lacrosse that posted on this and other chess computer forums, and will be sadly missed there, is said to be the one from the second link below (quoted from a post earlier in this thread), the graphic you posted is for Marc Lacrosse born in 1958 from the first link.
