Maybe Norman has already repented and is now "clean".
At least his site does not host pirated engines.
As Alex said, it is better that people go get Robbo at Norman's website than at a googled warez site with lots of pirated engines.
Take your pick.
Matthias.
Right!
So, there is no more discussion with you on this. I'm not going to debate with you this gentleman's penchant for cloning, and if you chose to associate yourself with him that is on you. Good luck!
It is sad that you prefer any "googled warez site with lots of pirated engines".
Matthias.
No!
I'm not playing word games with you. That is not what is being discussed here and you know it. We are talking about Norman- Period. Stick to the issue. If you back the guy say so! Don't play games.

No. First of all there is no real hint that Robbo is a Rybka clone, but everything is told about that.
Norman Schmidt was not involved in the Ippolit/RobboLito developement. He just took the sources when it was available, fixed bugs and improved it together with others. I have no idea how much he did himself.
Leo wrote he is not trustable, because after his first illegal use of GPL code he got a 2nd chance and told again it is 100% his own work. Thats why Leo said he is not trustable.
So Norman is a part of there enterprise! I don't care if he directly had a hand in their efforts to develop Robbolito. " Those of similar taste congregate in groups."
Look! I'm through arguing this point-people are going to have to make up their own mind where they stand on this issue.
