After an all-out high depth (for 1970 - depth 14) I have decided.
More extreme ambitiousness.

Re: [CC] Gab vers Matthew
Though I'm down 1 pawn in material terms, I might be able to make it back by solid defense and positional factors, Even if you do try the Maroczy Bind on me.Be6 probably comes next.

Hi Matthew,
Yes even with one pawn ahead, I do still have to convert to a good endgame. Will try to focus the d6 pawn and convert an advantage on the queen side.
Cheers,
Gab

Re: [CC] Gab vers Matthew
Then b3 and a4 seems a good plan for you, with a possible c5.
I will probably use the central piece base that I have, and the more advanced kingside pawn structure to crash through your defense.
(I admit, something in the back of my mind is shouting Bxh3 gxh3 Qg5+. I will have to analyse it)
EDIT: can't play Bxh3 at the moment due to Qg4.

Re: [CC] Gab vers Matthew
I'd better make progress while I still can. I need to think of a counter for that queenside attack.
