103 is broken for me also.
What compiler are you using?
? what exactly is "broken"? if you want to report a problem, you need to be more specific. this has nothing to do with the compiler (I use msvc that comes with VS2022).
you said that "run epd suite" is grayed, I told you you need to open an epd file first
- fix (cosmetic): pgn termination comments now correspond 1:1 to termination tag
- fix: when starting a new game against an engine from a FEN, book combo is no longer grayed out
- new feature: swiss tournament type (no advanced edits/game replays possible)
- uses a virtual bye engine that always resigns if number of players is odd
- top seed always starts with white (no coin toss)
- simple greedy top-down pairing with backtracking
- tries to balance white/black but doesn't enforce strict rules like max 2 consecutive games with the same color
sadly it seems that defender on VT "detects" this binary yet again, I won't obsess with it anymore because there's nothing I can do anyway
And once again it is Virus Total that is the issue. On an actual machine it downloads normally without any Defenfer warnings, and manually scanning it comes back clean too. So yeah, I definitely wouldn't obsess over it.
build 105 is up:
- fix: cannot start a new tour if a tab with same filename is already open
- fix: compact crosstable for swiss
- fix: swiss total number of games is for all rounds, not just the actual one
- add sort engines by elo button in new tournament
build 106 is up:
- fix: arrow settings in appearance work properly now, also made player arrows completely orthogonal to analysis arrows and renamed the text to make it more clear what's what
- in new tournament dialog, holding control while clicking up or down button now moves the engine to front/end
- default tournament output path can be overriden in path settings
build 107 is up:
- fix: primary tiebreaker for swiss is buchholz now, sonneborn-berger is secondary tiebreaker and ultimately seed order. sonneborn-berger remains primary tiebreaker for all other tournament types
- analysis in menu (or even hotkey) now toggles analysis mode rather than restarting it (seems more logical now)
- double-clicking a line in analysis output list now opens a "pv tab" that can be examined later (note: works for analysis engines only, not player engines)
