35.Qa6 also, but I'd like to know the plan after 35...Qc6. We'll need to be careful of Rxd5 followed by Qd6 and e4.

I don't know if I am seeing visions but what about Rc7?

No I mean 35. Rc7

For your fear against Rxd5 white could take back with the c pawn and not allow the advance of the e pawn but this gives black 2 passers. but blocked.Also for example After 35. Qa6 Qc6 36 Nf1 and h2 is defended, but is difficult for white to make progress.

True. Recapturing with the c-pawn if Rxd5 eventuated does look the better option.

I took a quick look at 35.Rc7, but still prefer Qa6.

Hello Mr Banks I do not know if I am missing something with Rc7 but I see exchanging our 2 rooks for black queen and we still has the better minor pieces (blacks bishop is has nowhere to go)
