I tried to access the winboard forum few minutes ago and saw a detailed report from Volker....

Things are on a very good way. It will be up again in a few days.

I'm looking forward to the renewal of the forum. I've been a member there from 1999 (if memory serves me well). It was the place where I learned almost all of my knowledge about computer chess. The "Frank Quisinsky and Thomas Mayer era". I have never met a more pleasant environment for asking and answering questions. Recently I visited it less frequently as I found that it had run out of steam, at least for non-programmers. Let's hope it will be recharged before long.

Yes be nice if it is up and running again. I still have that nice pic.
