Re: Details about Leela Chalange in Jerusalem
new stockfrish simply make wrong comments about the next game
https://lichess.org/xXYGF7US
25...Qxa2 is not a mistake and it force mate in at most 24 moves. Qb2 is a faster mate in at most 16 moves based on my analysis but this is not a good reason to claim that 25....Qxa2 is a mistake and the small evaluation in the site is clearly absurd. of the stupid NN and old engines can see higher evaluation based on material also at small depthes

Re: Details about Leela Chalange in Jerusalem
I can see your reason for complaint. The inaccuracy/mistake/blunder detector is a layer of application-specific software that runs on top of stockfish. In scanning for large evaluation deltas it relies on stockfish multipv mode for the raw numbers. Which lines get considered for the top N depends on the evolving move ordering. Move ordering is tuned according to elo gains. When you are in the realm of +5 pawns elo optimization has little influence on move ordering for the purpose of finding quick mates. Meaning, you may not get what you want.Uri Blass wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 2:15 am new stockfrish simply make wrong comments about the next game

[d]6r/p4p2/3kb1p1/6P1/2Pp4/qP3Q2/P2P4/3K2R1 b - - 4 25
When I go to Lichess for analysis the first thing I do is change the analysis engine from the default Stockfish 17.1 7MB NNUE to the normal 79MB NNUE, set multipv=5, and up the search time, thread counts, and hash size. With those settings 25.Qf3 gets an evaluation of -7.3 and 25...Qxa2 and evaluation of -7.9. (Original values from your analysis -6.3 and -3.7.) In other words, to the big net 25...Qxa2 is not only not a blunder, it is a good move.
But here was a curious thing. In the mulipv analysis of 25.Qf3 neither 25....Qxa2 nor the best move 25...Qb2 are listed in the top five. That's odd. So I took the job to "homefish" using the latest stockfish-dev and let it analyze for 15 minutes. I set multipv=45, equal to the number of legal moves in the position. 25...Qb2 comes out on top with cp=856. But 25....Qxa2 is listed in - wait for it - 33rd place!

Extraordinary. JewishBeauty was a human player, right? The pgn has both players as human.
I do not know why the pgn has both as humans and I copied from lichess but maybe something was wrong in copying
It seems the original pgn did not say human or computer and when I copied to arena it assumed both are humans
