Thanks Ted for your thorough coverage of the match!

Kramnik really has his work cut out for him! If Anand can take the next game or certainly not lose a game then Anand will reunify Chess!!

Go Vishy! Regards

Terry

P.S. I missed today's game, too bad, it looked like a hell of a fight!

Yes sir Terry, I agree. I am pulling for Anand and he sure did come thru today. Still I have to give Kramnik credit for his 18. Bf4! move. It more than made up for the time he (Kramnik) spent on it. In all what a great game we saw today.

Actually, Anand has beaten Kramnik with black even earlier this year (2008) in Nice, France. I think that might be a rapid event. I know that in Belgrade 1997, Anand won with black against Kramnik in a classical time control. However, I might be missing a classical time control victory with the black pieces after 1997.

In general, top players have typically beaten others at the top with both colors. Kramnik typically does not play as ambitiously with black, so we might see less wins of his with black against the elite.

This will be an interesting match - I think Kramnik has never lost real WCh match so far! Or has he?

Did Kramnic lose because of ra3 being an error?
