Even the rook endgame is hopeless. That is as bad as it gets, if you cannot even exchange down to a questionable rook endgame.

This is dead lost. Not that we shouldn't try, but let's be realistic.

Both bishops are on squares of same colour.
That is why we will lose.

I can't comment on the opening phase because I didn't join in until the middlegame. However, I feel that some dubious middlegame decisions were made, in that many underestimated the dangers to our g6.
However, the game is supposed to be purely for fun, so we shouldn't get too cut up. :wink:

Indeed !

And besides - the Tasc is rated at about 2,300 ELO - is anyone here that strong a player ? Honestly I'd expect us to lose even if we had not had started a pawn down, assuming we don't use engine assistance.
