Any engine that finds Qc1 (preparing for Bxh6)

is what you are looking for...

such as played by Hiarcs11.2 recently against Fritz8 .....

Now this is (I think) a good attack against the black king side

such as played by many chess GM's in the past....!!

There are many, I´ll try to order by effectiveness :
1. Hiarcs 12 paderborn
2. Deep Fritz 10.1
3. Toga Chekov & Glaurung 2.1
4. Thinker 5.1 E(maybe 5.2C but I´ve don´t test it yet)
5. Loop M1-T
6. Sipe 1.2 Turin
7. Junior 10
8. Nimzo 8
9. Chesstiger 2007
10. Junior 9
11. Junior 7
12. CSTal II
Is just my impressions, based on play´s that I´ve saw , Junior´s family at least since version 7, are very agressive, but in many cases its attacks are unsound, don´t works, just if u wanna see fire works you should see to Juniors family, Junior 7 is the more agressive, crazy and wild engine, Thinker too and more efective.

I guess you meant Hiarcs paderborn 2007. Other than that, the list is pretty good, though there are more aggressive engines out there but are so weak that it's difficult to add them. Also, I think Junior is more "crazy" than aggressive.

About Thinker, 5.2C has lost some of its aggressiveness for sounder play, so it will not sacrifice a piece if it's not going to work most of the time, and it will force a draw if it thinks it's losing. Still very entertaining but 5.1 is still worth a look.

Let's not forget Shredder 10, it was the most aggressive Shredder before it was tamed in version 11.

I would also include Gambit Fruit 1.0 Beta 4b as I have found this plays some fairly aggressive attacking combinations early in the game, whilst also remaining strong at over 2800 elo (ccrl 40/4 test lists).

Agreed. However, I miss Gambit Tiger 2 in those listings too!
