will there be a realease of a newer fruit?

i was wondering if there will be a release of a newer version of fruit.i have been seeing newer versions then 2.3.1 in rating lists.

Ryan is OK but how about Fabien? I'd prefer the inventor to continue development.

Ryan does all the work on Fruit now. Fabien is working on his new engine.

I hope he comes back with a new private or free engine to knock
the socks off the clones.

He started this by making Fruit. Which all the others copyed off of.
Toga,Rybka,Strelka.Etc.

Well, he doesn't need to develop a new version since there's an unreleased Fruit BETA out there, I wonder what would we need to do so it's released. I hope he gets the time.
