Stickies take up prominent screen estate and should therefore be confined to essential information for all the forum viewers.

If you feel so strongly about the visibility of a particular post, you can always bump it yourself.

Sorry, This is not any kind of special or announcement post enough to guarantee a sticky. To me, this seems to be a normal post just like others posts out there.

If Mods have to accept your request to make this post a sticky, then I guess they would have to accept the request from other people if they ask, to make their posts sticky.

Too many stickies messes up the threads and clutters up the forum, another poster suggested bumping the thread in order to bring it to the top of the forum pages again - sounds like a good idea.

Yeah...I see the problem. Chris also contacted me via pm, so I accept the decision. You're right, you may end up with too many requests.
