Excellent!! Thanks.

May I know what kind of software you're using to design these? It must be really awesome.

Xara Xtreme, indeed the fastest:

It's freeware for Linux users:

By the way, the pen is photo-cut, not actually drawn. ;)

I know that the pen is photo-cut, everything else was designed...

Thanks, I will try it out when I get back home tonight.

Also, I will organize the Top 64 Engines 4 games per round Knock Out Tourney, should be interesting! Would people still bet on Brutus?! Or would they make dark horse predictions?!

What do you propose for the prediction contest questionnaire?

I will propose these:

1. Predict final winner alone.

2. Bet on two engines. In the end, see where they stand/eliminated and calculate scores accordingly?

With engines having a different number of games depending on results, the scores will need to be normalized (mainly 2 draws not counting as a win, and winning and losing against your opponent canceling out), or perhaps you have some idea on how to do it (Perhaps reaching the next round gives 10 points or something?).

I think you should play an extra match to decide on the 3rd and 4th place, and members have to decide what engines will end in 1st, second and third place. Of course the person that guessed the first place right should win, and the other 2 would work as tie-breaks.

Also, after getting Xara Xtreme you'd want to check the tutorials at http://www.xaraxone.com/html/2007_tutorials.html, I learned a lot with them; when you're experienced you can do a logo like my avatar in about 10 minutes ;)

Ok, deal. Three guesses, Of which First one really matters. And 2nd and 3rd are optional reserved for tie breaks.

Thanks for the link to tutorials, I will ask you any doubts If I get around to that.

Things to do:

* Create rating lists - Bayes Elo and Elo stats

* Organize Knock Out Tournament

* Test newer version of recently updated engines, in GBT 1 and GBT 2 and see the progress.

* Operate Slowchess at ACCA tomorrow. Set up the opening book, bit bases, play few more standard games etc

* Try to learn how to create logos using Xara. My first impression is that it's quite difficult for a newbie, too many commands and not too user friendly, add to the mix the big database of help file. Do you use messenger, Uly? If so, May I take few minutes of your time to ask you basic stuffs? I'd prefer a messenger chat conversation with you than ask you the whole thing here on the forum.

Strange, I found Xara very intuitive from the get-go, but that's perhaps because I had previous experience with Corel Draw.
