I will post updates here after every six rounds. For those who wish to follow the tournament more closely, you can do so from the following link:

Games will be available for download after every two rounds.

My thoughts on this division:

If NanoSzachy 3.8 is anywhere near the strength of the previous version, then it should be the favourite for promotion.

Horizon 4.4, Sage 3.53, Sorgenkind 0.4, GreKo 6.5 and Daydreamer 1.51 are likely to be fighting it out for second spot.

Glass 1.3 and LittleThought 1.04 should end up just below the above group of engines.

Popochin 3.2, Rodin 2.3a and Amundsen 0.80 will likely be fighting to avoid the second to bottom playoff spot.

I think that Mediocre (automatically promoted from the previous series of Division 6) will be outclassed and will go straight back down.

I agree mostly.

My only objection is: Rodin will claim the last spot.

What I really would see is new stronger Mediocre.

I hope Daydreamer lives up to your predictions; according to CCRL it's the second-lowest rated engine competing. Seeing it in a tough field like this makes me want to release my development version. :)

Swami's liebling Daydreamer and my last spot candidate Rodin
are playing for the first place?

This is sufficient for celebration. I declare today as holliday.

Best,

PS: Glass 1.3 is new one, but was Popochin 3.3 not out?

Still early in the competition. NanoSzachy 3.8 doesn't seem to be as strong as NanoSzachy 3.7 was.
