Congratulations to Mach VI Philidor!

I wonder what possessed Star Opal to just give up it's Knight on move 12 of the last game?

It looks like the 24Mhz did not improve it's game by anything at all. :P

the hour was late by then
we were approaching 4 Hrs of playing time
perhaps the operator was tired and wanted to go to sleep?
:P

seriously though.. i think it was a Knight for two pawns
not uncommon for lower rated Kittinger programs to do that i think?
you have far more experience playing with these portables then i do so you would know better

anyway Nick.. i myself seldom ever have a problem with getting tired
at my age..i tend to sleep like a baby

Up Every Two Hrs. Regards
Steve
