CEGT - rating lists January 03rd 2010

Post by Werner »

Hi all :-),
our first rating lists in 2010 are now online and can be found under the attached links.

40 / 20:
Today we added 1247 games made with 36 different engines to our list. See more in our list "Games of the week". In total our 40/20 list is based now on 375.873 games.

New engines:

We have no new engine in our list - besides of the 2CPU version of Stockfish 1.6. The result is a view lines down.

I have tested private Stockfish 1.6s x64 1CPU, the first version from Dann Corbit. Here are my results:

Code: Select all

Stockfish-16DC x64 1CPU 2200 - Naum 4 x64 1CPU 2200 34.0 - 16.0 +23/-5/=22 68.00%
Stockfish-16DC x64 1CPU 2200 - Rybka 3 x64 1CPU 2200 19.5 - 30.5 +11/-22/=17 39.00%
Stockfish-16DC x64 1CPU 2200 - Rybka 2.3.2a w32 1CPU 2200 28.5 - 21.5 +16/-9/=25 57.00%
Stockfish-16DC x64 1CPU 2200 - Fruit 090705 x64 1CPU xxxx 30.5 - 19.5 +22/-11/=17 61.00%
Stockfish-16DC x64 1CPU 2200 - Deep Shredder 12 x64 1CPU xxxx 25.5 - 24.5 +13/-12/=25 51.00%
Stockfish-16DC x64 1CPU 2200 - Thinker 5.4Di x64 1CPU 2200 31.0 - 19.0 +22/-10/=18 62.00%
Some of them are very good, the others not. Overall the engine would get a rating of 3021 in our list which is under them of the official version. The games are not included in our list.

Updated engines:

Code: Select all

4 Stockfish 1.6 x64 4CPU 3129 +20 -20 650 games (-28 and +116 to 1.5.1)
9 Stockfish 1.6 x64 2CPU 3054 +29 -29 300 games (+73 to 1.5.1)
14 Stockfish 1.6 x64 1CPU 3036 +20 -20 634 games (-3 and +95 to 1.5.1)
The 4CPU version is now on place 4 behind the 2CPU/4CPU Rybka 3 versions.

2 Rybka 3 x64 2CPU 3149 +11 -11 2886 games (-3)
321 Crafty 23.01CB x64 1CPU 2721 +29 -29 336 games (-18 and 20 behind wb version)

I wanted to test this as well. In view of these results, I suppose
I may skip this one. Which GUI is being used in these tests?

Hi Harun,
Crafty CB x64 runs only in the Zap!Chess x64 GUI.

Are there other x64 native cb engines? I mean, like zap x64 .dll etc?

I am uncertain whether I should buy this GUI or wait for the improved one?

Thanks for your response, Werner. IIRC, there should be a
Zappa_Zanzibar_x64.dll

I must now find the corresponding chessbase web page for this GUI.

Best to you,
