40 / 20:
Today we added 2423 games made with 69 different engines to our list. See more in our list "Games of the week". In total our 40/20 list is based now on 382.307 games.
New engines:
This week we added Naum 4.1 to our list with some improvements:
Naum 4.1 x64 1CPU reached the 3000 mark and is 27 points in front of Naum 4.0.
Naum 4.1 w32 1CPU has 2987 elos with only a small improvement over Naum 4.0 (+7). Alex always said: 64bit version is stronger than 32bit. And here we can see it now. Now we are waiting for version 4.2 with more 64bit improvements.
Critter 0.52 x64 showed a great improvement here: 2837/ 329 games. This is 90 better than for Critter 0.42. Hope it holds as I have had some not so good results here with games not included as something went wrong. More next week.
Another update was for Brutus 8.05 x64 2CPU. Stephan had worked on the smp implementation with success: The start rating is +38 in front of version 7.02. As the engine uses shared memory it is not possible to make more than 1 match on the same pc.
