Firebird wins Jänisch Gambit and takes back the lead

Gambit no. 8
English Opening
A10 Jänisch Gambit (sometimes called Halibut gambit)
1.c4 b5

You should call it English Jänisch Gambit (not official name!), because the name is mostly given to the Eco C63 Jänisch Gambit (also Jänisch-Schliemann) in the Spanish Opening: 1. e2-e4 e7-e5 2. Sg1-f3 Sb8-c6 3. Lf1-b5 f7-f5.
Nowadays the Spanish Jänisch is all the more reported in the chess journals and articles, since the Azerbaijan Grandmaster and World Top Twenty player Teymur Radjabov (Elo 2733) is playing it many a time in the tournaments.
In the course of my net searches I've often found the "1.c4 b5-gambit" connected with the name of Jänisch or Jaenisch, but it was never mentioned in any biographical context. So I hope it's really his invention.

Wikipedia:
Carl Friedrich Andreyevich von Jänisch (Vyborg, 1813 – Petersburg, 1872) was a Finnish and Russian chess theorist and player. In the 1840s, he was among the top players in the world.
He dedicated all his life to mathematics and chess, two subjects that he considered closely related. In 1862-63 he published his major work: Traité des applications de l'analyse mathématique au jeu des échecs, in three volumes.
He is best remembered for having analyzed and helped develop Petrov's Defence with Alexander Petrov and for his work on the Schliemann-Jaenisch Gambit of the Ruy Lopez.

The gambit is accepted by all engines.

A very bad score for the gambit player (Black) Only Shredder has won, even tiwce, against Rybka and Zappa! Luck or a superior play by Shredder in special positions? I have a suspicion which I will pursue...

The same old story:
The human balance is much better. Who plays it, is mostly well prepared and knows the theory. Of course you can get with an opening book a better black balance by the engines too.

Starting evaluation in the view of Black after 2. - b5
- 0,45 to - 0,1,15 cp
Mean = - 0,72

Till now the worst evaluation for the gambit player and therefore a good correlation with the scores.

In this 8th gambit round Deep Rybka 3 lost three games and took only the 4th place, two points less than Firebird. Firebird didn't lose one game, good enough for winning back the top of the Great Gambit Tournament.
