You were very close in predicting the outcome, when good Opening chess book is used it is very hard for engine to get a win as Mr. Larry Kaufmam mentioned here before. I used one of the best Opening Book but Limited to only 8 moves https://fauziakram.gumroad.com/l/fzabk

Result so far is Dragon by Komodo 2.6.1 is leading, followed by Stockfish, and Berserk 9 is behind Stockfish 13 by only one game
