Great to see you are still at it after all these yearsWerewolf wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2023 11:23 amUsing the recommended best big net, T78, my MacBook Air M2 gets a whopping 300 nps. Apple just sucks for chess.
No, it hadn't been upgrade.phhnguyen wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 1:25 amI wonder if TCEC has upgraded their GPU cards for the last tournament. Otherwise, the reason of LC0’s win is still not clear to me.Modern Times wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:40 pm GPU hardware is improving at a much faster rate than CPU it seems. I mean, you can test LCO's on lesser equipment, but it thrives on those high end GPU's which people generally have for (non-chess) gaming.Kanizsa wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 9:13 pmNo, it hadn't been upgrade.phhnguyen wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 1:25 amI wonder if TCEC has upgraded their GPU cards for the last tournament. LCO's win is somewhat clear to me: avatar "Etaquab" & avatar "Borg323" did an amazing job.
Today Leela is very close to Stockfish, but none of the testers like CEGT CCRL Pohl and others show interest in measuring progress.
