all players are irrelevant if we’re honest, all they do is play chess, there’s not much societal contribution other than an entertaining and - depending on the circumstances - educational pastime. sven øen is no exception, thus the personality cult around him strikes me as highly unsound, .

So you must master the endgame first. The middlegame and the opening will be a lot easier.
