Now SF says Bxb3 with evaluation 79cp in favor of White. That's at depth 46.
[d]1r6/2b2q1k/6p1/p3PpPp/2pPbP2/1BP5/RB3Q1K/4R3 b - - 0 18

Will be away for several hours...

Wonder if SF will switch away from Bxb3 as I let the search run.

I do not believe SF has any advantage, but the point is, did I miss the win again?

Small wonder, if I have to tackle Latin syntax instead of SF moves. :)

I knew in the end somebody else would have to take the resonsibility.
I feel honoured that it could be me this time.

No, Miguel, Lyudmil for sure will start it all over again before that.
:)
If I just don't find the time by myself again, would you be so kind to bear the blame next time if it shouldn't work neither?
:)

Rather than your struggle with Latin, Occam's Razor suggests the initial position is simply a draw. I see no reason to believe you "missed" a win. SF's evaluation was never once in your favor.

SF plays Raa1 with 87cp for White:
[d]1r6/2b2q1k/6p1/p3PpPp/3PbP2/1pP5/1B3Q1K/R3R3 b - - 1 19

If you were to offer a draw now, perhaps SF would accept.
