but does that mean i should also feel that way?
and if i dont agree with you and if i speak up i am only making "noise "about it then ?
And i should remain silent on an Internet forum where the topic is posted and posts on it are invited?
Steve
Of course not Steve. Everybody is entitled to voice their opinion.
And life would be boring if we were all just sheep!

That's what I voted for. A computer match against any GM is enough to perk my interest!
Then perhaps there should also be an option to choose another program.
If indeed a computer match against any GM is interesting, why is not watching any engine play a GM interesting?
I voted Nakamura, because he wins more games against computers than anyone else. Then again his forte is 3+0 and I dont know if he can perform that well at longer time controls.

Hi Christos,
I would find any such match interesting, but the poll is about the preferred opponent for the Rybka match from those who expressed interest.
Unfortunately some have taken the "other" option to mean anybody at all.
I will also voted others
I hope to see GM Arthur Kogan
One of the reasons is that he is the only israeli GM who accepted to play the match(I do not know how many of them know about the challange and GM Arthur kogan got the information by email from me)
Another reason is that GM kogan is optimistic about his chances.
He claims that it is not a question of high elo but
more about understanding the way the program 'think' and play, and from the other side: adjust your own style and adjust your way of thinking to this totally different match compare to human games
