It happens on two of my machines, both dual opterons, one with 4 another with 8 GB of RAM. It is same with Pro Deo 1.2 as well.
No problems here using it under wine on my Linux box with 1GB RAM.
I forgot to say, I use Windows XP Professional 64-bit.
Same OS as Kirill.

I feel that it will work if you have less than 4GB RAM. All people who reported the issue were using WinXP x64 and at least 4 GB RAM.

Common factors are...

x64 windows

opteron

4gb ram or more.

then it dont work.....we have eliminated other configs.

Nice to know why this is.

Olivier, Kirill,

Please drop me a mail, I will try to make some test versions to investigate the problem.

Ed
if you mean protools, that runs fine in winxp,i haven't tested it in xp64.
prodeo from a console give the problems as others reported.
maybe pulling out some memory modules might help.
seems >=4Gb and Winxp64 are bad for prodeo

This seems to be the trouble maker indeed, just changed it to unsigned. I will update my pages later with the corrected version and most probably there will be an engine improvement after all.

You noughty boy, "...an engine improvement after all"!

I was just trying to detox from years of Rebel addiction, with some success, and there comes the improvement...

Anyway, glad to hear it, and maybe i'm nagging a bit, but the old junkie is still longing for the excellent analysis include/exclude function.

Cheers,
