how to get CSTAL DOS running under windows XP

with installing IMAUS mouse driver and a bootable DOS disk
i can run CSTAL ...

my laptop can even access to the USB stick as a HDD.
I copied the LARGE book of CSTAL on this CD too.

i had the NPS wrong in my memory.

original CSTAL is not faster than windows, only v93 (a special version) was faster.

so in the moment i have 30.000 NPS CSTAL 1 on my AMD 2400+ laptop.

(709% of a pentiumpro200 the benchmark says).

now i can experiment with styles.

I just get into explorer of windows, go to properties of the program and make it compatible with W95.
It runs OK

i tried this. but when i am doing it the screen remains BLACK.

Try with other compatibilities, like W98. One must do

it stays black . maybe it has to do with the graphic cards or whatever setting.
