In shredder 7.04 you can set the number of threads.
Later shredder versions made a difference between single and multithreaded.
the multiversion being more expensive ofcouse

Interesting to see this fine old warhorse getting some attention

For what its worth, for my own interest I ran a short test recently to see the impact of an additional processor on Shredder 7.04.

As with other tests I've done, same opponents and conditions used for both S704 and S704 2CPU.
