Yes, I do, That is what he has said, and I have no reason whatsoever to doubt his honesty and integrity. Give the guy a break !

Did the rest day involve eating potatoes, beans and lot of farting?

Hi Ovyron,

To be honest, and also take Anthony at his word that he has been a bit lucky in the match so far as the results are concerned. Then I would have to say Yes.

While not working on Zappa it is possible that he had many
ideas how to improve his program. A good programer can
do a lot in 80 hours of work.
I consider thinking as part of the work so again in that case claiming that he did the progress in 8 days is simply misleading.

Of course, if in all the time that he didn't work in Zappa, he was thinking about improvements, then he wasn't retired at all (as he claimed).

Who cares? We've got an improved Zappa - that's all that matters!

Oh yes, I cannot be more happy, finally one engine of the strength of Rybka that has a very different style and approach to the game!

I had the feeling that all Rybka was doing on 'her' games was to sit and wait for the enemy to blunder, and then punish that blunder (even if slight blunder) in some blood thirsty way.

But I don't feel like Zappa is sitting, I like a lot more 'its' style. (So you are right about the irrelevance of Anthony's behavior ;) ).
