Yes, that is the correct solution...same as mine...

1.Rxf7 Bc6 2.Ng5 Bd5 3.Bf6 Qc5 4.Rh7 Qf8 5.Qe5 Rc7 6.Qxc7 Bxg2+ 7.Kxg2 Qxf6 8.Rxe6+ Kf8 9.Rxf6+ Kg8 10.Qc8#

Move 2 is suppose to be .....as you have it...Ng5...

So there is more than one solution to mate in 10 and there are many longer routes to mate so the dilemna for the engines/programmers is at what point do you stop searching for a shorter mate?

It can be a bigger issue than you may think because some of the older engines and certainly the dedicated machines e.g. Mephisto Risc 1Mb would announce mate then announce mate at same or longer length on next move.

As good as today's engines are they are still not perfect!
