OK ¡¡ all are semi-correct ¡¡¡ after you move back.. the clock not reset... this mean that CITRINE moves more fast after some test ¡¡¡ it´s need re-select the LEVEL ...

THE test Finished ¡ ALL clock times are correct... but you must reset the clock if you like analisys a previus positions... clock reset when you select a LEVEL...

if now... use the comand "T" ( take back ) two moves... comand "J" ( go ) and clock don´t reset ... this is one conclusion that if you like re-analisys one position YOU MUST go to setup. and re-charge the level...

select "l sd3" and clocks start 10:00-10:00... comand "j" and citrine think 20 seconds...

take back again... and select "L a2" and clock start 0:00-0:000 and think 15-20 seconds...

ALL correct...

Hi Oliver,

I just finish some tournaments with citrine against palm hiarcs adjusted to a rating of 1950. I ask Mark how he came up with these different ratings (750 to 2000) and he told me that they were calibrated against ssdf rated opponents.

the results were:
40 moves/ 5 min
palm hiarcs 9.6 (1950) 4.5
citrine (TR1 level) 5.5

40 moves/15 min?
palm hiarcs 9.6 (1950) 5.5
citrine (TR2 level) 1.5

all the game in 15 min

palm hiarcs 9.6 (1950) 1.5
citrine (SD 4 level) 4.5

So i also believe there is something wrong with the TR2 level of citrine maybe is not a 15 min. level. I will keep testing to find out wich will be the strongest level.

very very interesting test chess ... after read your coments... I will go test with palm chess tiger on palm m130 ... this is near 2100~2350 SDFF... your similar test... with other engine...

Yes... I test citrine versus citrine... maybe when citrine play versus other player... use the time of other player better in some times... the results "c4" is stronger fast level...

I am thinking... if "A2" is not a LEVEL 15 min... maybe A3 not is a level A3... and in that situation... a4-1, a5-1 .. a7-1 ...

or the other option is this errors only have in fast levels, that algoritms of NOVAG work very well 5-7plys... so fast... 22-60 second .. when time is more short down rating... and if it have more time... play better, but the other player have more time too and play more plys...

Edit: I remember now that ARENA have option to "down" level engines... I test automatic games with arena... use the option rating.... <
