The annoying BBChess 1.3a download....

I'm not having a very good night.

I just noticed the uci id name is saying 'Mingw32' instead of 'BBchess 1.3a'.
If that bothers you download the fixed one below >

Jim, i downloaded the above version (you know well my feelings about "ming"). But somewhere in some thread i may have overlooked the answer to this: Could you tell me what i am supposed to be gaining by loading and using 1.3a that i dont have now with 1.3 . Unless i overlooked it, i have no idea if it is just a bug-fixed version, a supposed strength >, or what exactly.

FYI, tthe only difference in the entire content of the src was some typo changes in the makefile and a pondering fix at uci.c.

insted of:

	searchStop();

it was changed to:

Code: Select all

	if(ponderSearch){
		ponderSearch = FALSE;
		searchStop();
		ponderSearch = TRUE;
	}
	else searchStop();

Maybe, Borko got the idea from the long SMPNICE issue of Crafty !
So there's not much difference in strength between 1.3 and 1.3a.
