Re: OliThink 5.1.2 released - Blitz 1' 1'' tourney to test

Post by beachknight »

Sorry, Oliver.

I have to postphone my tests of tonight.

First, I must find one thing: Which cygwin1.dll is better to use with Arena?

15.25-11
15.25-7
15.25-5
15.25-4
or
15.24-2

Then, 5.1.2 tests will start.

Sorry for the delay.

Best,

Hi Harun... OliThink itself doesn't need any cygwin because it's compiled with a native windows compiler. I am not sure about Arena, perhaps somebody else can tell?

Hi Oliver,

I started my OliThink tests. You can
follow them at

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Ches ... s_Testing/

As for cygwin1.dll:

I made few tests with Glaurung 2.0.1. Not a definitive
conclusion yet. But in the meantime, I suggest using
cygwin1.dll 15.25-4 dated 20071206.

I was in a hurry for my Sunday morning run.

I should have included that:

cygwin1.dll issue is being now discussed at
Arena Forum:

Hash size is not yet configurable, I requested it a long time ago.

Yes I know. Dann Corbit wrote a patch, where hash is configurable, but I hadn't a chance yet to release this patch.

Anyway, thanks to Dann for all his support.
