Ditto for Sorgenkind with Tony.
It should be a private one, too.
As for GK and Gerbil:
Do you use Jims compiles or original ones?
WJ 1.64, I suppose.
Buzz 008, due time for a new buzz?
Best,

Best,
Latest version is used for Buzz and remaining other engines too. Wjchess 1.64 is being used.
Next time I make tournament posts, I will make sure I include version numbers for all the engines.

Thanks Swami.
I saw a test or beta version of Buzz that
is more recent than 0.08 competed in
another tournament. I thought you
might include that version as well.

I don't think it is available for download? maybe it's given to some selected beta testers? If that's the case, I'd rather use the official version. I haven't heard of new Buzz.beachknight wrote:Thanks Swami.

I do not feel like emailing authors for updated betas, besides there are enough official ones to test. Dirty played in many editions, it's being put in the waiting list to make way for other engines.Tony Thomas wrote:I guess you can just email Pradu, he wont mind helping out an Indian brother.swami wrote:I don't think it is available for download? maybe it's given to some selected beta testers? If that's the case, I'd rather use the official version. Best to you,By the way, Dirty is a combined effort from Pradu and Andres, and it is supposed to be slightly stronger than both of the parent engines.

May be you should only do that for new engines. If you change the name, when you calculate the rating, you will have the engine listed under two different names, unless you want to use one of the tools by Norm Pollock.swami wrote:yes I use the original compile for Gerbil.beachknight wrote:Ditto for Sorgenkind with Tony.
