Mike,

How about another subforum exclusively for death threats?

Yes, I'd love to see him return back to either CCC or CTF. :)

It has been established by other mods that the PM system here is also covered by the Charter. ie threats, bad language, spam, unwanted messages and so on made over TalkChess PM system can be subject to moderation if moderators receive a complaint.

No, it was on the Rybka Forum, so not subject to moderation. It was quite funny actually, too bad it was deleted there.

Yes, you're right that we tried to impose some structure by asking the principals for the anti-side to list their concerns to then be sent on to Vas. Vas had already promised to answer.
yes and it was chiefly due to your efforts that Vas agreed to consider the questions..no small achievement for which you are given FULL credit(even though you are probably on the anti-anti side)

it does seem that 3-4 days have gone by now and i am still searching for the questions??
i haven't logged on for a day or so ..so i guess i am missing the questions being posted..i do see the initial question which was posted 3 days ago so i will search for the relevant threads/posts/questions

on the lighter side...
even if nothing comes of this and it turns out that there is nothing at all to the Fruit---> R1 connection...there is a silver lining to this after all

Enrique,Ed ,Hyatt, Whittington,Czub...are all back and posting again in the CCC
now all we need is Moreland and we are back up to fighting strength
:P

Steve
It's the first post in the Zach thread - question to Vas. Sent off to Vas this morning by email as requested, althoguh for some strange reason I then got flamed for doing what I was asked, but, whatever ;-)

It is too bad. It belongs in a sticky to illustrate how insane people sometimes get. Something like:
When you notice yourself entertaining the idea of ending someone else's life over a chess program, stop what you are doing. Try some heavy drugs for a while. Go get a massage. Take up Golf.

i imagine someone must have his email address and could alert him to this great controversy swirling around us now
after all...we have now seen Cozzie come back from the dead and Ed as well..
the great commercial programmers of past and present are all taking part in this
i myself will see if Ron Nelson(the man who programmed the VERY FIRST COMMERCIAL chess engine) is interested in any of this
